Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions ("Pro Plan") purchased on raisebill.com, operated by Pardeep Jha & Associates, Chartered Accountants ("Company", "we", "us"). This policy is published in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and Razorpay's merchant compliance requirements.

1. Free Tier
The Free Tier of RaiseBill is entirely free and does not involve any payment. There is nothing to refund or cancel. You may use the Free Tier indefinitely without any obligation.
2. Pro Plan — Subscription Model
The Pro Plan is available in two variants:
- Monthly: Valid for 30 days from the date of payment.
- Annual: Valid for 365 days from the date of payment.
RaiseBill operates a manual renewal model. Subscriptions do not auto-renew. When your Subscription Period ends, your Pro access expires. You will not be charged again unless you explicitly initiate a new payment. There is no recurring charge, standing instruction, or automatic debit.
3. Cancellation
Since there is no auto-renewal, there is no "cancellation" in the traditional sense. You simply choose not to renew when your current Subscription Period ends. Your Pro features remain active until the expiry date of your current period.
If you wish to stop using the Service entirely, you may do so at any time without contacting us. If you wish to have your account and data deleted, email us at info@raisebill.com.
4. Refund Eligibility
4.1 Eligible for Full Refund
You are eligible for a full refund of the subscription amount if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund request is made within 7 calendar days of the payment date.
- You have created no more than 5 cloud-saved invoices during the Subscription Period.
- You have not exported a GSTR-1 report during the Subscription Period.
This 7-day window serves as a "try before you commit" period, allowing you to evaluate Pro features before fully committing.
4.2 Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- The refund request is made after 7 calendar days from the payment date.
- You have extensively used Pro features (more than 5 cloud-saved invoices or GSTR-1 export).
- Your account was terminated by us for violation of our Terms of Service.
- The payment failed or was already reversed by your bank/payment provider.
4.3 Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a Subscription Period. Each payment covers a fixed period (30 days or 365 days), and the full period is available to you regardless of actual usage.
4.4 Exceptional Circumstances
In cases where the Service was materially unavailable or non-functional for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours) during your Subscription Period due to reasons attributable to us, we may offer a refund or extension at our discretion. Please contact us with details of the issue.
5. Refund Process
- Send an email to info@raisebill.com with the subject line "Refund Request".

Include the following in your email:
- Your registered email address (the Google account you signed in with)
- Date of purchase
- Razorpay payment ID (if available — found in your Subscription page)
- Reason for the refund request
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and verify eligibility.
- If approved, the refund will be initiated via Razorpay within 3 business days of approval.
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method (bank account, card, UPI, or wallet). The actual credit timeline depends on your bank or payment provider, typically 5–7 business days from the date we initiate the refund.
6. Effect of Refund on Account
Upon successful refund:
- Your Pro Plan will be deactivated immediately.
- You will revert to the Free Tier.
- Cloud-saved invoices will remain accessible in read-only mode for 30 days, allowing you to download PDFs. After 30 days, the data may be deleted.
- Your account (Google sign-in) will remain active. You can re-subscribe at any time.
7. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If a payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, Razorpay will automatically reverse it within 5–7 business days. If you are charged twice for the same Subscription Period, contact us at info@raisebill.com and we will refund the duplicate payment immediately upon verification.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly at info@raisebill.com before initiating a bank dispute — we are committed to resolving issues promptly.
